University museums journal The latest electronic edition of the University Museums and Collections Journal is available. Documentation conference The 2012 International Committee for Museum Documentation (CIDOC) annual conference will be held in Helsinki 10-14 Jun 2012 at the National Museum of Finland. Award winners Vinod Daniel won the individual 2011 ICOM Australia Award for International Relations. The institutional award went to the Australian Museum. Anti-seizure legislation In the absence of Australian anti-seizure legislation, international cultural institutions and governments are becoming increasingly reluctant to lend objects to Australian museums and galleries. |
